Ryan Norman Duarte of Makawao, Maui, died Oct. 27, 2003, at the age of 34.
Born on Kaua‘i on Dec. 21, 1968, he was a Service Consultant with Maui Toyota; and also graduated from Waimea High School in June 1995.
Preceded in death by his mother, Patricia Rose Duarte and brother, Darrick John Duarte, he is survived by two daughters, Tiffanie and Cheyanne Duarte, both of ‘Ele‘ele; father, Ronald “Skippy” Duarte of Kalaheo; two sisters, Pernella (Jesse) Soares and Elizabeth (Derek Arakaki) Duarte, both of Kalaheo; two brothers, Ronald (Marleen) Duarte Jr. and Caesar (Vanessa) Duarte, both of Kalaheo; also survived by Editha Arrocena; numerous uncles, aunts, nieces, nephews and cousins; companion, Jerry Nelson of Makawao, Maui. Friends may visit with the family from 9-11 a.m.; on Sat., Nov. 1, at the Holy Cross Catholic Church in Kalaheo; Mass to follow officiated by Father Biz.
