On a regular basis, the van, which carries a registered nurse on board in addition to the driver, stops at the following locations, from west to north:
- Lucy Wright Park, Waimea
- Salt Pond Beach Park, Hanapepe
- Niumalu Park, Nawiliwili
- Historic County Building, Lihu‘e
- Hanama‘ulu Beach Park
- Kapa‘a Beach Park
- Anahola Beach Park
- Kilauea Neighborhood Center
- ‘Anini Beach Park
- Hanalei town
- Hanalei Beach Park pavilion
- Ha‘ena Beach Park
The Care-A-Van stops in places other than beach parks, like Hanalei town, Kilauea and the County Building, which are not places homeless people live or camp, because homeless people know they can come to these places and get food and other services, said Stephanie Fernandes, KEO’s director of homeless and housing programs.
