Lihu‘e baseball need sponsorships
The Lihue Baseball League is offering advertisement sign banners, which can be purchased to help support the league.
The LBL teaches youth ages 5 – 12 and their families the lessons of teamwork, leadership, playing by the rules and good work habits through baseball, in efforts to keep children occupied in healthful activities aimed at avoiding destructive influences of drugs, gangs, alcohol and substance abuse.
Sponsorship banners cost $200 for the first season, and $100 for a second season. Banners are 3 by 8 feet and made of vinyl, with two colors featuring your company name and phone number. They will be displayed from January to July at the Lihue Baseball outfield fence. The deadline is Dec. 1.

Under 12 coaches’ meeting scheduled
Coaches planning to enter a team in the County’s 12-Under Boys Basketball League are asked to attend a coaches’ meeting scheduled for Thursday, Nov. 20 starting at 7 p.m. at the Mo‘ikeha Building Conference Room #2.
Rosters and league format will discussed and finalized at this meeting hosted by the Office of Community Assistance-Recreation Agency, and all coaches or team representatives are encouraged to attend.

Hanapepe Youth Baseball Association will be holding player registration for all age divisions. Shetland through Pony at Hanapepe Neighborhood Center, Nov. 17-20, 4:30-6 p.m.
