Tin Man ‘racers’ meet for breakfast next Saturday
The organizers of the “no running or jogging allowed” Tin Man Invitational race in Princeville would like to announce that their major event is Saturday, Nov. 29, not Nov. 30 as previously stated.
Anyone joining the cheering crowd for the five-member “non-competition” team should meet at the fountain near the Princeville entrance or along the route from the fountain to the Prince Clubhouse for breakfast.
Correction — Kaua’i High School O & D football banquet
In a recent story on the offensive and defensive lines of the Kaua’i High School football team dining out at Plantation Gardens in Po’ipu, the wrong name of another restaurant was included in the story.
After a long season, line coach Dean Petro usually takes his linemen to Pomodoro Ristorante Italiano in Kalaheo, not Donderos at the Hyatt Regency Kaua’i Resort & Spa in Po’ipu.
