Mischa Renalli
Mischa J. Renalli of Honolulu, died at Wilcox Memorial Hospital on Dec. 12, 2003 at the age of 21.
He was born in Narashino, Chiba, Japan on Aug. 27, 1982. He is survived by his father, Teruo Jo, of Honolulu and his sister, Gypsy Renalli of Honolulu.
Private services will be held. Arrangements are being handled by Borthwick Kauai Mortuary.
Lucrecia Racca
Lucrecia Racca of Koloa, died at her residence on Dec. 14, 2003 at the age of 80.
Born in the Philippines on Dec. 14, 1923, she was a groundskeeper and a laundress at Kapa’a Sands.
She is survived by her three daughters, Hermelina Muraoka of Koloa, Perlita (Marcelo) Baldonado of Kealia, Erlinda (Jun) Lopez of the Philippines; three sons, Fedencio (Lily) Racca of the Philippines, Nestor Racca of the Philippines, and Rogelio (Linda) Racca of the Philippines; brother-in-law, John (Lita) Racca of Lihu’e; sister-in-law, Morcelina Raqueno of the Philippines, 18 grandchildren, five great-grandchildren, numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
Friends may visit with the family on Sunday, Dec. 21, 6-9 p.m. at Borthwick Kauai Mortuary in Koloa, and again on Monday, Dec. 22, 9-10 a.m. at St. Catherine’s Church. Mass to begin at 10 a.m. with Father Jim Orsini presiding. Burial to follow at St. Catherine’s Cemetery. Casual attire is suggested.

John Waring
John Allyn “Jack” Waring of Annandale, Va., died at his residence on Dec. 7, 2003 at the age of 76.
Born in Michigan on May 25, 1927, he was an employee with United Airlines for nearly 40 years. He was an active member of the Hale Moi and Sealodge condominium association and was a frequent traveler to Kaua’i. He also developed a successful business booking travelers into other Princeville properties.
He is survived by his wife, Rosemary; two children, Michael Waring of Springfield, Va. and Dr. Stacey Waring of Oakton, Va.; sister, Susan Warmann of Elmhurst, Ill.; and three grandchildren.
A memorial service was held on Dec. 17, 2003 at Accotink Unitarian-Universalist Church in Burke, Va.
