To my sister:
• the hands that rings the bells at Christmas times.
• my dearest sister, you were there with me to share my very first time and day as I held the Christmas bell.
• my dearest sister, the joy I felt coming from you as I look upon your face. Both of our hearts fill with thanksgiving.
You wanted to be the first in line to give your offering in the Red Bucket, as you heard me ring the Christmas bell for the first time. Then you left to go to work.
• my dearest sister, I want to share with you, my very first day as I held the Christmas bell.
It started out with a prayer to our Lord Jesus Christ.
The son of the living God.
I ask him to let the people hear the Christmas bell ring in their hearts, for others.
And that he would bless them that gave with their hearts. And he would increase the money that was in the red bucket.
And not only for my red bucket but for all the red buckets in the whole 50 states.
Because the money was to help people, who was in need. And there was no (difference in their) color of skin to receive help.
And I end my prayer in the name of Jesus Christ the Lord amen. Alleluia, Alleluia.
For the true Christmas is loving one another and being there for each other, no matter who you are or where you come from. Because God is love.
• my dearest sister, as I stood there ringing the Christmas bell, I seen and met all kinds of people.
People who came to Kaua’i as visitors gave their offering as they heard the Christmas bell ring.
And there was people who live on Kaua’i that gave also.
• my dearest sister, there was children and little babies as their mother held their hands to put their offering into the red bucket.
• my Lord bless their hearts. And my dearest sister, there were people who held on to their hand bags and wallets, who never put anything into the red bucket.
They heard the Christmas bell ringing.
• there was a whisper in my heart saying: “If you gave some where else the Lord bless you. And if you never gave. Please let not your heart be harden for others.”
We all have three chances to give:
1. When they go into the store.
2. When they come out of the store.
3. As they by pass the red bucket.
• my dearest sister my heart started to hurt. Because I knew three things:
1. The Lord and his father God was looking down at them.
2. The real truth if they had a heart.
3. Because no one, I mean no one knows what tomorrow will bring into their lives.
The whole truth is the people who never gave, will be the first in line to want free things like food, clothes, blanket, tents, and so on.
Kaua’i had two hurricanes and lots of people knows what its like to be without.
This is where the red bucket come in. To help all of you.
• my heart whisper, saying even one cent, five cents or ten cents or even 25 cents, 50 cents or 75 cents and if you can give $1.00 bless your hearts.
Don’t you know that when you give with your whole heart the Lord will bless you in his time.
Its true. I stand on that promise.
• my dearest sister, when I started to think about the worst in people there came a young man, who people would never give him a second thought. He had stains of red dirt on his T-shirt and pants, he also had long hair, barefoot carrying a backpack and his skin color soft keokeo (white).
In your heart you know that he needed help.
And yet he came over with a smile on his face, as he put his hand into his pocket trying to see if he had something to give.
And before he lost his smile he found a coin. And his smile came bigger.
I thank him and ask the Lord to bless him.
Later he returned to wave goodby and left.
• my dearest sister, it made me think of the story in the Bible. About the women who gave her all two cents.
Sister somehow I felt better, because through this young man, and the people who gave offering, there is hope for mankind.
And also sister, people thank me for ringing the Christmas bell and said, God bless me.
So it is a blessing to give of one time freely to help others.
In closing thank you my dearest sister Cleopatra, sister Pearl and Wally Boy and Samuel and Leo my sister-in-law.
All of you help me for something to drink and bathroom break.
God Bless Everyone
