Kapa’a High School will open the 2003-04 Kaua’i Interscholastic Federation softball season when they host the Kaua’i High School Red Raiders Wednesday evening at the New Kapa’a Ball Park starting at 5:30 p.m.
All three of Kaua’i’s high school teams will be competing for a bid at the HHSAA title in Division I.
The KIF season will have the girls teams competing on Wednesdays and Saturdays with Wednesday games beginning at 5:30 p.m., and the double-header games on Saturdays starting at noon.
On Saturday, the Warriors will be moving on to meet the Waimea Menehune at the Waimea Canyon Park starting at noon.
Kaua’i will wait until Wednesday, Dec. 17 to host the Menehune at Isenberg Park.
The state championships for Division I will take place Feb. 11-14 at the University of Hawai’i Wahine Softball Stadium. The Division II title fight will be taking place Feb. 13-14 at the University of Hawai’i-Manoa Wahine Softball Stadium.
