Boxscores from Saturday’s double-header between Kapa’a and Kaua’i can be found on page B2 of today’s TGI Sports section.
The 15-0 and 15-1 wins by Kaua’i High School was highlighted by Kapa’a scoring their first run of the KIF season in game two when Theresa Taylor singled in the third inning to drive Sandy Pimental across the plate.
Anna Quibilan, the winning pitcher in game one, also backed herself in the batter’s box, going 4-for-4, scoring twice, and driving home three RBIs in the win.
Dennis Anderson of the Hawai’i High School Athletic Association also advised that these numbers are now predominantly featured on the HHSAA Web site at www.SportsHigh.com.
In addition to Kaua’i statistics for both boys and girls team sports, high school sports fans can find statistics for other high schools in the state by clicking onto their respective headings.
A bonus is the large number of photos being provided to the site by Manny Henriques. These include photos from both the weekend’s softball games, the varsity soccer games, and for those who were not able to make the trip recently, photos from the Kaua’i-Kahuku football game that was played at Aloha Stadium.
