Margaret Aipoalani
Margaret Aipoalani of Kekaha, died at home on Dec. 10, 2003 at the age of 88.
Born in Kekaha, on Nov. 17, 1915, she was a tour driver with Duarte’s Tours.
She is survived by son, C. Kunane Aipoalani of Kekaha; two daughters, Kaanoi Yorkman and Delia Aipoalani both of Kekaha; four grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; sister, Ulu Kilauano of Kekaha; numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
Friends may visit with the family at 8 a.m. on Saturday, Dec. 20, at the Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, Kekaha Ward; service officiated by Bishop Karretti will begin at 10 a.m. Followed by burial at Kekaha Hawaiian Cemetery. Casual attire is suggested.

Fortunato Cachola Capino
Fortunato Cachola Capino of Waimea, died at Kauai Veterans Memorial Hospital on Nov. 28, 2003 at the age of 81.
Born in Nagbukel, Ilocos Sur, Philippines on June 10, 1922, he was a retired pineapple laborer.
Preceded in death by wife, Aniceta deGuzman and parents, Nicasio and Ana Capino, he is survived by children, Warlito (Kruawan) Capino of North Carolina, Virgilio (Nelly) Capino of Kekaha and Annette (Elpedio) Gorospe of Moloka’i; sisters, Maria Cachola and Julita Gamazon both of Aiea, O’ahu; eight grandchildren; three great-grandchildren.
Friends may visit with the family at 9:30 a.m. on Saturday, Dec. 20, at the St. Theresa Catholic church in Kekaha; with rosary at 10 a.m.; mass officiated by Father Larry will begin at 11 a.m. Inurnment will be held at a later date. Casual attire is suggested and flowers omitted.

Rizalina “Rose” A. Liberato
Rizalina “Rose” A. Liberato of Koloa, Kaua’i, died Dec. 9, 2003, at Wilcox Hospital at the age of 75.
A retired housing interviewer/counselor with HUD, County of Kaua’i, she was born Dec. 30, 1927, in Batac, Ilocos Norte, Philippines.
Preceded in death by her husband, Olimpio “Mike” Liberato, she is survived by children, Veda (Tom) Kindle, of Portland, Ore.; Michael (Amy) Liberato of Hanapepe, Kaua’i, and Lisa (Clarence Jr.) Liberato-Ariola of Lihu’e, Kaua’i; sister Felipa “Fely” Serra of Honolulu, Hawai’i; seven grandchildren Malia (Colin) Ceda, Jason (Stephanie) Kindle, Llowen Liberato, Kaleo Ariola, Llayla Liberato, Cameryn Ariola, Llara Liberato; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Family and friends may call on Saturday, Dec. 20, at St. Raphael’s Church in Koloa from 8 to 9:45 a.m. where mass will be celebrated at 10 a.m. with burial to follow at St. Raphael’s Church Cemetery.
The family requests that in celebration of her life, friends and family wear their favorite color.

Carmen Tumaneng Baltazar
Carmen Tumaneng Baltazar of Kapa’a, died Dec. 9, 2003, at Wilcox Hospital at the age of 66.
Born July 16, 1937, in Claveria Cagayan, Philippines, she was a homemaker.
Preceded in death by her husband, Ernesto Baltazar, she is survived by two daughters, Rebecca (Orlando) Canosa of Kapa’a and Ginalyn Baltazar of Nevada; two sons, Andrew (Leeundra) Baltazar, Sr. of Kapa’a and George (Yoshiko) Baltazar of Japan; one sister, Esperanza (Filemon) Yago of Puhi; and two brothers, Severo (Magdalena) Tumaneng and Bonifacio (Carline) Tumaneng, both of Lihu’e; 14 grandchildren; one great granddaughter; numerous nieces and nephews.
Family and friends may call on Thursday, Dec. 18, at 5606 Kula Mau’u Road in Kapa’a from 5 p.m. and again on Friday, Dec. 19, at St. Catherine’s Church in Kapa’a from 9 to 10:45 a.m. where Mass will be celebrated at 11 a.m.; cremation to follow.

Mariana Gonsalves of Lihu’e, died at home on Dec. 14, 2003 at the age of 93.
Born in ‘Oma’o on Feb. 28, 1910, she was a homemaker.
Preceded in death by husband, John C. Gonsalves and son, John K.R. Gonsalves. She is survived by son, James R. Gonsalves of Kekaha; two daughters, Virginia (Marvin) Perry of Lihu’e and Evangeline Hosino of Hayward, Calif.; 15 grandchildren; 39 great-grandchildren; 35 great-great-grandchildren; numerous uncles, aunts, nieces, nephews and cousins.

Feliza B. Gonzales, of Honolulu, died at Wilcox Memorial Hospital on Dec. 12, 2003 at the age of 73.
Born in Piddig Ilocos Norte, Philippines on Oct. 24, 1930, she was retired machine operator with Mail Well Co.
Preceded in death by parents, Donato and Anselma Gonzales, she is survived by brother, Geronimo (Felipa) Gonzales; nephew, Andres Gonzales; six nieces, Lorna (Greg) Cerny, Zenaida (Peter) Tausend, Cornelia (Dan) Works, Mercedes (Eddie) Casticimo, Maria (Vince) Wildermuth and Lovelyn Gonzales; numerous grand nephews, grand nieces and cousins.
