The first 18 people that sign up and pay for the adult Positive Focus workshop scheduled for Sunday, Jan. 25 at the Puakea Golf Course will receive a 2-for-1 coupon that is valid for one month.
Darryl “Dr. D” Oshiro will present a workshop for adults from 8:30 to 11:30 a.m., and a children’s session will go from 1 to 3 p.m.
The purpose of Positive Focus is to help educate athletes on the importance of being confident, having fun, and controlling only what they can control at the present time.
Positive Focus will also educate athletes on how to decrease and eliminate self-doubt which is often the reason for performance slumps. The various Mental Skills Programs will provide a better understanding of why mental training is so important through sports psychology concepts and a variety of techniques to better an athlete’s performance.
Positive Focus is dedicated to the improvement of one’s athletic performance and daily lifestyle.
