After two years of being eliminated in pool play, the Kaua’i Soccer Club Girls U13 finished the 2003 pool play with a record of 2-0-1 at the recent 10th Annual Mililani 7-A-Side soccer tournament.
The record girls edged out Da Mana A, 3-1 in the semi-finals to go up against the Real Copa in heavy rain and slippery mud in the finals of that age group.
Despite the inclement weather conditions, KSC Girls U13 eked out a 4-2 halftime lead enroute to their championship run that came following a 5-3 win over the Real Copa.
Players on the KSC East team include Dominique Bartolo, Stephany Foster, Brandi Gomes, Randy Hudson, Michelle Kato, Kaylyn Kealoha, Sanoe Keliinoi, Tiana Kunioka, Kali’a Mayer, Maegan Pablo, Whitney Rowe, Destiny Smith, Lindsey Taylor, Ashlyn Ubongen and Christine Yotsuda.
Kevin Devitt and Ed Taylor are coaches with Criselda Yotsuda as Team Mom.
