In recap figures released by KIF scorekeeper Manny Henriques following one round of play, Lynette leads the league in the pitching category with six games won in 37 innings of throwing.
The Menehune ball hurler leads the pitchers with a total of 19 strikeouts in the round followed by Kapa’a’s Chasare Labuguen who finished the round with eight whiffs.
Kaua’i’s Sherri Gebauer follows in third with six K’s.
In the batting box, Lynette Perreira is joined by two other batters in leading the league with ten hits, Gebauer and Menehune catcher Kodi Oyama sharing the honors.
Waimea’s Moani Durant and Daeleen Perreira follow in the hits department with nine hits each after one round, Daeleen leading the two-bagger department with five in the first round.
