When details are finalized, the two properties are expected to join the Toronto-based company’s two award-winning properties in Hawai‘i: Four Seasons Resort Maui and Four Seasons Resort Hualalai, on the Big Island, during 2004 for the Hotel and 2005 for the Lodge.
Howard’s to close down
Howard and Pat Naleimaile are retiring from the gas business on Feb. 28.
The Naleimaile’s, who have owned “Howard’s Service, Inc.” in Waimea since 1988, recently sold the business.
“The time has come for us to retire from the gas business,” said the owners. “We want to say mahalo from the bottom of our hearts to all of you for your loyalty, friendship and aloha throughout the years.”
Howard and Pat will continue do auto repair and provide propane gas at a new location in the M&S Marine building next to the Kekaha post office on March 4.
In order to help thank island customers, the Naleimaile’s will offer a special gas price and free car washes (with gas purchase) on Feb. 27-28.
