Fellow Americans,
Do not despair! Naders’ candidacy strikes fear in the hearts of Democrats everywhere, but there is a messenger who will ease your troubled minds. By the grace given us by Wisconsinites, the nomination process will be a contest, not a coronation.
The people of Hawai‘i can make a significant difference in this election season. Hawaiians can choose a candidate who will electrify crowds with a positive, congruous message, or a meandering bore.
Hawaiians can choose a man understanding of the plight of working families, or an elitist who hasn’t a clue. Choose the bulletproof voting record, not one that will be paraded by the RNC like a New Years’ Day float.
When Hawaiians choose John Edwards for president, Nader becomes moot, and we win the presidency. Otherwise, we pray for brighter horizons in 2008.
Thanks be to the Almighty, we still have a choice in 2004.
