Joe F. LeFebvre of Princeville, died Feb. 29, 2004, at Wilcox Memorial Hospital at the age of 85.
A budget analyst for Pacific Division Naval Facilities Engineering Command (PACDIV), at Pearl Harbor, he was born Aug. 12, 1918, in Pirtleville, Ariz.
He is survived by one son: Jim (Eileen) LeFebvre of Seattle, Eash., two dughtgers: Sue (Bob) Doyle of Princeville and Mary (Tom) Bartlett of Princeville; two brothers: George (Rebecca) LeFebvre of San Diego, Calif. and Gary LeFebvre, of San Diego, Calif.
He moved to Kaua‘i from Honolulu in October 2001, was a 4th Degree Knight in the Knights of Columbus and a lifetime member of the Elks Lodge No. 616. A WWII Army veteran, he played the trumpet and was a jazz musician.
Services will be held Monday, March 8, from 9:45 to 10:45 a.m. at Holy Trinity Catholich Church in Kuliouou, O‘ahu; where Mass will be held at 11 a.m. Burial to follow at 1 a.m. at Hawai‘i Veterans’ Cemetery.
Donations may be sent to the Alzheimer’s Society. Aloha attire is suggested. Arrangements are being handled by Borthwick/Kaua‘i Mortuary.
