Hughes “Tino” Nahuka Naumu, Jr.
Hughes “Tino” Nahuka Naumu, Jr., of Las Vegas, Nev., died at the University Medical Center in Las Vegas, Nev. on Oct. 6, 2003 at the age of 41.
Born in Waimea on March 28, 1962, he was a warehouseman at MGM Grand Hotel in Las Vegas, Nev.
He is survived by his parents, Hughes and Dorothy Bayot-Naumu of Las Vegas, Nev.; sisters, Yvette Naumu-Elliott of Everett, Wash., Nadine Naumu-Alvarado of Lihu‘e; brothers Nathan Naumu of Oxnard, Calif., Troy Naumu of Las Vegas, Nev.; nephews, Daniel and Timothy Cummings of Kapa‘a, Nathan Naumu Jr. of Alexandria, Va.; and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.
Memorial services will be held at the Seventh Day Adventist church in Lawa‘i at 2 p.m. on Saturday, March 27.
Gary Toney “Pato” Morishige
Gary Toney “Pato” Morishige of Hanalei, died March 17, 2004 at Wilcox Memorial Hospital at the age of 56.
An equipment operator, he was born April 15, 1947, in Hawai‘i.
He is survived by his wife: Marney “Chip” Morishige of Hanalei; two daughters: Gayla Spencer and Dayna (Garret) Santos, both of Hanalei; two sons: Edward (Kimmie) Morishige of Hanalei and Kenneth Morishige of Honolulu; grandchildren: Makana Jenna Spencer, Baret and Tia Morishige and Ryland Santos, all of Hanalei; two brothers: Edward “Sonny” (Lupe) Morishige of California; Dwight (Susan) Morishige of Hanalei; three sisters: Betsy (Stan) Kamehiro of California; Carol (Edward) Carter of Texas and Judy (Dennis) Wakumoto of Hanalei; nieces, nephews and cousins.
The family requests no wreaths.
Friends may call from 2 p.m. on Friday, March 26, at Borthwick Mortuary Chapel in Koloa where memorial services will be at 4 p.m.
Casual attire is suggested. Arrangements are being handled by Borthwick Kauai Mortuary.
Harold Frazier
Harold Frazier of Lihu‘e, died March 15, 2004, at his home in Lihu‘e.
A retired engineer, he was born July 29, 1911, in Honolulu.
He is survived by his wife: Frances Frazier of Lihu‘e; one daughter: Stephanie Frazier of Puhi; one hanai daughter: Kathy Valier of Wainiha and three granddaughters and great grandchildren.
A memorial service is scheduled for July 29.
