Radio stations are off the air until tomorrow
If you’re in the radio business, the worst sound in the world is the sound of silence.
But for the past several days, that’s what you heard if you tried to tune into H Hawaii Media’s two stations, HITS 99 FM and Island Radio 98.9 FM.
Due to technical difficulties, both stations have been off the air since last weekend.
A source for the stations, owned and operated by Kalaheo resident George Hochman, said the stations are expected to be back on the air at full power tomorrow morning.
