(Below) Haruka Kawamoto, an exchange student from Shiga, Moriyama City, dishes out a serving of Sharon’s Chow Mein at the Kaua‘i Hospice Concert in the Sky Sunday. Kawamoto, who finished the school year as a junior at Kaua‘i High School, opted to remain on the island until she got to experience the Concert in the Sky event. She was hosted by Char Ono and Darrick Nordmeier whose son Akira is staying with Kawamoto’s parents in Japan.
