A redesigned website and weekly e-newsletters to fans are among the new external initiatives that the University of Hawai‘i Manoa athletics department is planning for the 2004-05 academic year, Herman Frazier, UH athletics director announced Monday.
The department’s website, HawaiiAthletics.com, has been completely redesigned and includes several new features to make it easier for fans to purchase tickets, participate in promotions, and follow the progress of UH’s men’s and women’s teams.
The new site, which was created and is being administered by the athletics department personnel, was launched on Monday.
Interested fans will also receive weekly e-newsletters (“H-Mail”) which will inform them about upcoming events and include links to press releases, schedules, and promotional opportunities. The initial e-newsletter will be sent out in late August. Fans may register to receive the weekly “H-Mail” on the UH website.
