Graham and Susan Nash, part-time Kaua‘i residents, recently held a private-collection sale at a Princeville family residence, and raised $6,675 for Kaua‘i Hospice, hospice officials said. The sale went so well that the Nashes and hospice leaders are already discussing plans to hold a second sale, again with all proceeds to go to Kaua‘i Hospice, said Liana K.C. Soong, development and community liaison with Kaua‘i Hospice.
The proceeds from the sale benefit Kaua‘i Hospice operations, with the donation in memory of the late Julie Jeffries Coe, a friend of the Nashes.
The proceeds are in addition to a separate, $3,000 donation the Nashes made to Kaua‘i Hospice earlier, Soong said. The $3,000 check represented a portion of proceeds from the latest tour of Crosby, Stills and Nash, the musical group including David Crosby, Stephen Stills and Graham Nash. “They have been loyal supporters of Kaua‘i Hospice” for several years, Soong said of the Nashes.
