Is there any relief or justice for the locals? We live in one of the most expensive places in the world, but by far the most beautiful. Many of us live here not by choice but by birth and we wouldn’t have it any other way!
Why do we need to continue to struggle to make ends meet? Many of us work numerous jobs and long hours to try and make it, but prices still climb. Some locals have left to find comfort elsewhere, and the rest of us will die here. I am going to be one of those locals who die here, this is home and this is where I am going to stay!
Now a days all I see is the prices of everything going up. Why don’t we have a lottery? A lottery would help the locals and senior citizens pay taxes, medical bills, etc. So where is the relief? Where is the justice? Has Kauai become only for the rich and famous, or can the locals still make it here?
