A Kaua’i male was seriously injured, and flown to O’ahu for further treatment, following a one-car crash on Kuamo’o Road in Wailua Homesteads Thursday morning.
A pick-up truck struck a tree head-on.
The male driver of the vehicle was seriously injured, and was transported by air ambulance to The Queen’s Medical Center on O’ahu. His condition was not known at presstime.
The female passenger was also injured, and taken to Wilcox Memorial Hospital for treatment. The extent of her injuries and her condition are also not known at this time.
