Frederick Ramos Jr.

Frederick “Fred” Ramos Jr. of Olaloa, Mililani and formerly of Kapahi, died Oct. 16, 2005, at St. Francis West Hospice at the age of 85.

Born May 11, 1920, in Honolulu, he was a retired supervisor for the Pearl Harbor Naval Shipyard Shop 64.

He is survived by his wife, Beatrice Ramos of Olaloa, Mililani; daughters, Clova Ramos of Kaua’i, Judy Kanoho of Honolulu, Winifred Cummings of Lanai; many grandchildren and great grandchildren and great great grandchildren; sisters, Angeline Gallo of New York, Jeanne Earle of Los Angeles; Caroline Blakeley of Honolulu; many nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. Friday, Nov. 4, at Nuuanu Memorial Park & Mortuary; call again at the mortuary on Saturday, Nov. 5, from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. prayer service 11 a.m.; interment to follow at 2:15 p.m., at Diamond Head Memorial Park; No flowers, aloha attire suggested.
