Members of the Kauai Chorale, under the direction of Lois Ricciardi, begin rehearsing today at 7:30 p.m. in the Kaua‘i High School music room on Lala Road in Lihu‘e, for their series of spring concerts.
The concerts are scheduled for May 20 and 21, states a press release.
This season’s theme is “Broadway!” and the music will consist of tunes from “South Pacific,” “A Chorus Line,” “Rent,” “Wicked,” “Chicago,” and many others.
The Kauai Chorale is the island’s community chorus, with members from Kekaha to Hanalei. Anyone who loves to sing and is willing to commit to rehearsals on Monday nights is invited to join. There are no auditions. Carpools form from all areas of the island.
