In keiki barrel racing, Marcus “Allen” Shimogawa didn’t let the girls beat him this time. The avid fisherman ousted Hallie Cristobal and Kira Blackstad-Pimental for the win.
Kalani Grace utilized his newly found strength from eating at his family’s “Dally Up” takeout restaurant in Kalaheo for the mule race triumph.
Kelli “Pearly Whites” Carveiro teamed up with Brittney Brun for the ribbon race victory over the father-son duo of David and Marcus Shimogawa.
But David stormed back with a not-so-fast statement over “Slammin” Sam Brun. David also got the best of his wife, Roseanne, who managed a third place showing.
However, Rosie climbed back onto the saddle for the first place finish, along with Sam Brun and her son Marcus in the 3-Man Baton Relay.
Carol Ayala posted the top time in pole bending and Hallie Cristobal took the keiki pole bending title.
Cheree Rapozo-Vasconcelles won the scurry race and Marcus Shimogawa rose to the top in ring spearing.
Sam Brun topped the rescue race and he teamed up with Kelli Carveiro for the hardware in the rawhide race.
