West Kaua‘i scored 16 first-inning runs on its way to the big win. Kaimana Alquiza-Perreira (3-4, 2 RBI), Mikeo Rita (3-3, RBI) and Soares (2-5, HR, 4 RBI) paced the westsiders. Alex Hanato (1-3, 2B) and Colten Yamaguchi (1-4, 3B) led Kona. Soares also picked up the win. Makana Canda suffered the loss.
West Kaua‘i tallied 16 hits in the five inning contest. Mililani slammed Windward 14-4, thanks to heavy hitting from Kevin Sadanaga (2-4, 2 R), Shantzyn Agbayani-Shibao (2-3, 2 R) and Cyrus Ah-Quin (1-3). Isaiah Vasconcelles (3-3, 2B), Kila Zuttermeister (1-4, R) and Keanu Mook Garcia (2-4, 2B, R) paced Windward. Sadanaga got the win and Vasconcelles took the loss. In other action, Lihu‘e failed to get into the win column with a 13-6 loss to ‘Aiea.
And in the nightcap, Maui edged Hawai‘i Kai, 3-1.
