Adam Gonsalves Pereira of Wailua Homesteads died at home on Sept. 8, 2006, at the age of 80.
Born in Hanama‘ulu on Jan. 17, 1926, he was a retired machinist with Lihue Plantation.
He is survived by his wife, Mildred Pereira; son, Kahea Pereira of Tucson, Ariz.; two daughters, Debbie Pereira-Morse of Costa Mesa, Calif. and Ann Makaena-Morgan of Newport Beach Calif.; five grandchildren; one great-grandchild; numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
Friends may visit with the family from 5 p.m. to 6 p.m. on Thursday, Sept. 14, at the Garden Island Mortuary chapel; service to begin at 6 p.m. Casual attire is suggested.
