Moana Jean Haunani Asuncion
Moana Jean Haunani Asuncion of Lihu‘e, died Sept. 25, 2006, at Wilcox Memorial Hospital at the age of 50.
Born Jan. 21, 1956, on Kaua‘i, she was preceded in death by her husband Keith Asuncion.
She is survived by three sons, Keith “Keoni” Kiilau, Calvin “Sam” Kiilau and Clifford “Ola” Kiilau; caregiver Robert Lord; mother Lily Kiilau; six grandchildren; four brothers, Danny Kiilau, Joseph Kiilau, Lance Kiilau and George Kiilau; four sisters, Cindy (Yasu) Morikawa, Maryann (Alfred) Lopes, Wendy-Lu (Warren) Frisbee and Leah (Jojo) Pillos; numerous nieces, nephews and friends.
Friends may visit with the family from 2 p.m. on Friday, Sept. 29, at the Lihu‘e Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, where services will be celebrated at 4 p.m. Cremation to follow.
Casual attire is suggested. Arrangements are being handled by Borthwick Kauai Mortuary.

Diane Oliver of Kilauea, died Sept. 14, 2006, at Wilcox Memorial Hospital, at the age of 54.
Born July 20, 1952, in Massachusetts, she was a retired nurse.
She is survived by her mother Hope King of Kilauea; three sons, Nicholas Oliver of Ha‘ena, Justin Oliver of Pittsburgh, Penn., and Eric Flam of Coronado, Calif.; daughter Stacy Heron of Birmingham, Ala., and three brothers, Kyle King of Kilauea, Martin King of Grapevine, Tex., and Christopher King of Kilauea.
Private services will be held on the Na Pali Coast. Arrangements are being handled by Borthwick Kauai Mortuary.
