The KCA hopes to bring world class artists to classrooms in the community by coordinating seven education services for children in schools this concert season. Expanding the program to enrich the lives of students provides an opportunity for the students of Kaua‘i to be exposed to arts and culture in the classroom.
World-renowned music performers present and educate students in the classroom to increase the opportunity to develop and appreciate diverse musical exposures that enter the daily existence of young children.
Visiting jazz musician Ernie Watts, chamber musicians Stretto and the Young Brothers conducted an educational service last year. This season, Shout, Sister, Shout, Jeffrey Swann and the Campbell Brothers conducted services.
