A special collection of players from the Kekaha and Waimea youth baseball programs made up the championship team that emerged from a weekend tournament in Kalawai Park.

When the dust settled, the Kekaha Wolves, a combination team of players from Kekaha and Waimea, emerged as tournament champions.
Brenda Jose, business manager for the Kekaha Youth Baseball organization said, “Special mahalo to all the participants for entering. Without your participation, the tournament would not have been a success.”
Members of the championship team include Anson Lazaro, Storm Costales, Jaycob Rapanot, Corey Borja, Madison Mooer, Jordan Baptista, Pono Manoi, Chris Rennie, Kamalu Gomes, Kekai Nordmeier and Kenji Toyofuku.
Coaches for the team include Shandon Nordmeier, Jimmy Costales, Bill Rennie and Burt Rapanot. Leialoha San Agustin is the team mom.
