WAIPIO — Nakoa Ibaan went 2-for-2 with a homerun, 4 RBI and scored twice in the Lihu‘e All-Stars’ 16-2 win over the PH-Hickam Patriots 16-2 Thursday at the Central O‘ahu Regional Park.
With the win, the Lihu‘e Baseball League’s Mustang Division All-Stars remain undefeated in the Baseball in Paradise tournament, which started last week.
Today, they continue playing in the championship round against the Kaneohe Orioles at 9 a.m.
With a win, they advance to the championship title game starting at 2 p.m.
Throughout the tournament’s pool play, the top-ranked All- Stars posted two shut outs, scored 46 runs and allowed 4 in four games.
In Thursday’s game against the Orioles, Keenan Arroyo was 1-for-1 with a single, an RBI and scored twice. Michael Farley went 2-for-2 also with a single, an RBI and scored twice. Teammate Bryton Lumabao also went 2-for-2 but hit one homerun and scored twice.
Cal Koga, who split pitching duties with Tyler Smith, was also 2-for-2 with a triple, a single, an RBI and scored twice.
