The Kaua‘i Police Department is asking anyone who has tips as to the whereabouts, or has seen a missing Washington man to call the Investigative Services Bureau.
According to police, Eugene Smit, age 40, from Washington state, last made contact with his family in April. Family members are hoping that he will contact them at (509) 588-8052 or (509) 547-5457.
Smit is 6-feet 2-inches tall, weighs about 165 pounds, and has brown eyes and curly brown hair.
He has a fair complexion, large build, and is Caucasian.
Anyone with information about Smit is urged to call Police Dispatch at 241-1711, KPD’s Investigative Services Bureau, 241-1696, or Crime Stoppers, 241-1887.
