On the Westside, Waimea High School will host Kona High School of the Big Island at 7 p.m. tomorrow at the Hanapepe Stadium.
Kaua‘i High School plays Hilo High School of the Big Island tonight.
While there is still another week of preseason games, all three Kaua‘i Interscholastic Federation football teams are looking good.
Last week, Kaua‘i, Kapa‘a and Waimea won each of their games against Big Island teams.
Kaua‘i, the Division II state runner-up, defeated Division I team Kea‘au High School,35-6.
Waimea had a similar victory when it beat Waiakea High School 38-7.
Kapa‘a, who had been struggling to win ball games over the past couple years, is showing progress so far with its 20-17 win over Hawai‘i Preparatory Academy.
The regular season starts Sept. 7 when Kaua‘i hosts Kapa‘a at the Vidinha Stadium.
