Dave Saunders of Monsanto is the scheduled speaker at the next AARP Chapter #654 meeting from 1 p.m. to 2:30 p.m. Oct. 8 at the Veterans Center on Kapule Hwy. in Lihu‘e.
Saunders will speak on the history and uses of hybrid corn as well as update the audience on Monsanto.
Interested persons are invited to attend and learn the benefits of membership in local and national branches of the AARP (American Association of Retired Persons) while enjoying the fellowship of new and old friends.
