The Westside Falcons Under 12 and Ha‘aheo Kaua‘i notched wins, Sunday, to remain the only two teams with undefeated records in the Kaua‘i Soccer Association’s Seven-a-Side league.
The Westside Falcons 12 were 4-1 better than the KSC-Blazing Angels while the Ha‘aheo Kaua‘i shut down the GIFC-14, 3-0.
With those results, the Falcons’ 12 team leads the U-12 division with an 8-0 record and 24 points while the Blazing Angels drop to 4-2-2, but still remain entrenched in second place with 14 points.
The Hawaiian Heat, who battled the Panthers to a 1-1 stalemate, Sunday, are in third place with a 2-2-4 record and 10 points. The Panthers tie with the Lihu‘e Elements with 1-6-1 records and 4 points each.
Ha‘aheo Kaua‘i leads the GU14 division with an 8-0 record and 24 points followed by the GIFC-14 at 4-4-0 and a dozen points. GIFC-13 round out that division with an 0-8 record.
Westside United bounced back from a lackluster first half to better the Eastside Galaxy 3-1 in the BU-14 division contest.
With the win that game, after being outplayed by the Galaxy in the first half, Westside United holds a 7-1 record in the BU14 division and 21 points.
The Galaxy slips to 1-5-2 and 5 points for third place in the division.
In the second BU14 contest, the GIFC-Cougars kept its second place position intact with a 6-2 win over the Westside Falcons. The Cougars finish Week 8 at 6-2 and 18 points followed by the Falcons trying to find its wings at 0-6.
The Westside Falcons 10 edged out its 9-year-old counterparts, 1-0 to retain the top spot in the U10 division with a 7-0-1 record and 22 points.
Tunda Girls, who battled the Kaua‘i Sparks to a 1-1 draw, sits in second place with a 3-2-3 record and 12 points followed by the Westside Falcons 9 at 3-4-1 and 10 points. The Kaua‘i Sparks round out the division at 0-7-1 and a point.
Westside Pride continued its control of the U8 division with a 6-0 shutout over High Maintenance. The Pride leads the U8 division with a 7-0-1 record and 22 points.
The Ha‘aheo Boys, filling in second place in the U8 division, shut out the Ha‘aheo Teenie Wahine 2-0 to improve to 5-1-2 and 17 points.
Ha‘aheo TW fills in the No. 3 berth at 4-3-1 and 13 points.
The Westside Falcons were 4-1 better than the Kapa‘a Blaze to remain in fourth place with a 3-3-2 record and 11 points followed by the Blaze at 2-6-0 and 6 points. High Maintenance rounds out the division at 0-8.
