YMCA, East Kaua‘i Y celebrates 25 years
The YMCA and East Kaua‘i’s Men Youth Run celebrates 25 years Saturday as the longest running event of its kind on the island, and to help with the festivities, tickets will be given away or random drawings.
Registration starts at 7:30 a.m. on Saturday at the grounds of Kilohana. The race is scheduled to start at 8 a.m.
For the drawing, the winning-runner and three family members will receive a 40-minute ride in “King Kalakaua-style” wooden cars on an authentic narrow gauge railway tour through almost 100 acres of agriculture.
