The Kapa‘a and Waimea swimming pools will be closed for a week, from May 12 to 16, to allow the Parks and Recreation Department aquatic staff to attend an American Red Cross lifeguard and instructor training course.
The normal hours of operation at the Kapa‘a swimming pool are: 11 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Tuesdays to Fridays, 10 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Saturdays, and noon to 4:30 p.m. Sundays.
The normal hours of operation at the Waimea swimming pool are: 10 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Tuesdays to Saturdays, and noon to 4:30 p.m. Sundays.
Both swimming pools are closed on Mondays and holidays.
