Wilson moved up the leaderboard with 4-under 67 and sits tied for 12th with a two-round total 135. Wilson is six shots off the leader Will Mackenzie (129).
McLachlin also carded 4-under 67 yesterday to bring him to 3-under 139 for the tournament. His score brought him up from the 110 spot, to 51 to make the cut, which was set at 139.
Wilson tees off with Aaron Baddeley and J.P. Hayes, while McLachlin tees off with Steve Marino and Andrew Buckle.
On the LPGA tour, Michelle Wie dropped further down the leaderboard yesterday after shooting 1-over 72 at the Jamie Farr Owens Corning Classic. Her combined score at even was good enough though to make the cut, which was set at 142.
She currently sits sevens shots back from leader Paula Creamer (125).
Wie, who is playing on a sponsor’s exemption, will tee off with Marisa Baena and Hannah Jun.
