We, the swimmers, families, directors and coaches of Mokihana Aquatics, affectionately called “Da MokiOhana,” would once again like to say “mahalo, Kaua‘i” for truly making us Kaua‘i’s team. Even during some economically trying times, Kaua‘i still comes through for us. Businesses from north to west, and all in between — thank you very much for supporting our annual Fun Meet ‘08, this year in Waimea. It is you, Kaua‘i, that allows us to serve you best to continue a 28-year tradition of excellence.
We serve by having the best Learn To Swim program in the state, from newborns to seniors (just ask anyone), by our work with special needs swimmers, our beach clean-up and charitable work, and by offering satellite swim team sites at Kapa‘a and Waimea (besides Kaua‘i High School pool) for all children.
Without you, Kaua‘i, not a single year would have been possible. We look forward to our next generation together.
