HONOLULU – The No. 7 University of Hawai‘i Rainbow Wahine volleyball team (9-2, 2-0 WAC) get ready for its first road trip of the season, playing three matches in five days in three different time zones. UH will first play at Louisiana Tech on Thursday before playing at New Mexico State on Saturday and at San Jose State on Monday.
The Rainbow Wahine won its first two conference matches this past weekend, beating Idaho and Boise State at home. During the weekend, freshman Kanani Herring hit .367 with 4.57 kills and 4.57 digs per set, helping her earn her first career WAC Player of the Week honor.
During the road trip, the Hawai‘i games will be broadcast on ESPN Radio (1420 AM) with Blaine Kauwe handling the play-by-play action.

Thursday’s schedule has Hawai‘i serving from 2 p.m. Hawai‘i Standard Time. Saturday’s game will start at 11 a.m. HST and Monday’s contest serves up from 4 p.m. HST.
