Kan Shing Greg Ho
Kan Shing Greg Ho died Oct. 24, 2008 at Wilcox Memorial Hospital at the age of 103.
Born in Hanalei, on Sept. 9, 1905, he was a retired fireman.
He is survived by daughter Dorothy (David) Vigilante of California; sisters Joyce Fountain of Lihu‘e, Sarah Nunes of Kapa‘a, Florence Ching of Lihu‘e, Pearl Canfiled of California; brother Stanley Ho of Hanalei; two grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
Friends may visit with the family from 9:30 to 9:45 a.m. on Oct. 29, 2008 where Mass will be celebrated at St. Catherines Church, Kapa‘a. Burial will follow at 10 a.m. at St. Catherine’s Cemetery.
Arrangements are being handled by Borthwick Kauai Mortuary.
Father Paul McLeod
Father Paul McLeod of Wailua died Oct. 20, 2008, at his home at the age of 68. Born April 3, 1940, in Cleveland, Ohio, he retired from the priesthood and was a spiritual care coordinator at Kaua‘i Hospice.
Survived by brother and sister-in-law, Phil and Carla Schultz of Ohio and numerous nieces and nephews.
Wake and viewing will be from 8:15 a.m. to 9:45 a.m. at Immaculate Conception Parish, Lihu‘e, prior to Mass at 10 a.m. on Friday, Oct. 31. Burial to follow at Kaua‘i Memorial Gardens.
Arrangements have been made by Borthwick Kaua‘i Mortuary.
