Donna Fuji is geared up for Saturday’s craft and book fair at ‘Ele‘ele School. She and her second-grade students will have pronto pups on sale along with her offering of hand sewed items. Is there a new version of the Fuji cookbooks? Gotta go check it out between 9 a.m. and 1 p.m.
Before that, though, Thomas Noyes has got his Friends of Kamalani volunteers starting at 7:30 a.m. for the Make A Difference Day work, and Nathan Eagle said the Surfrider Foundation is going to attempt cleaning the marine debris at Nukoli‘i.
Kanana Kuhaulua said she was the smallest of the Pop Warner limbo dancers so had an advantage in winning that contest during the Pop Warner regional spirit championships … hats off to Gail Thompson (she had pink eyelashes) and Joyce Evens on doing a great job behind the microphones, and Kevin Matsunaga had video crews from Chiefess Kamakahelei Middle School and Waimea High School helping with the production of making DVDs of the event.
Hats off to Mila Rapanot (it’s not a cheer event unless she’s there) and her Kekaha association for hosting a great event … even got to see Brenda Jose in the audience.
And kudos to Paul Pancho, Sherri Agosto, Jane Garma (coach Tony and the boys were eating pancakes in ‘Ele‘ele before the KSA games), Mel Rapozo (he had the blue eyelashes), Tasha Daligcon and Yvonne Hosaka for pulling everything together.
