Annie Kaliloa of Hanapepe died Oct. 21, 2008, at West Kaua‘i Medical Center/KVMH at the age of 92. Born July 14, 1916, in Honolulu she was a cook at Mike’s Cafe.
Preceeded in death by husband John K. Kaliloa, Sr.; daughters Anna Y.J. (Donald) Kahalekulu, Diane Kaliloa and granddaughter Ivy Leilani Kaliloa.
She is survived by sons John K. (Diane) Kaliloa Jr., Larry K.S. (Gail) Kaliloa; sisters Grace (Dan) Wong, Violet (Henry) Chang, Rose (Herbert) Ching, sister-in-law Mabel Timmerman, grandchildren Rochelle (Brian) Cushnie, Bronson (casey) Kaliloa, Paige (Robert) Moura, James Kaliloa, Jason Kaliloa, Lou Ann Kaliloa, great grandchildren, and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
Friends may visit with the family at 10 a.m. Saturday, Nov. 1, 2008, at Borthwick Kauai Mortuary Chapel in Koloa. Sevices to follow with burial at Kauai Veterens Cemetary.
Aloha attire is suggested.

Paul McLeod
Father Paul McLeod of Wailua died Oct. 20, 2008, at his home at the age of 68. Born April 3, 1940 in Cleveland, Ohio, he retired from the priesthood and was a Spiritual Care Coordinator at Kaua‘i Hospice.
Survived by brother and sister-in-law, Phil and Carla Schultz of Ohio and numerous nieces and nephews.
Wake and viewing will be from 8:15 a.m. to 9:45 a.m. at Immacculate Conception Parish, Lihu‘e, prior to Mass. Burial to follow at Kaua‘i Memorial Gardens.
Arrangements have been made by Borthwick Kaua‘i Mortuary.
Tsuyano Tao
Tsuyano Tao of Koloa died Oct. 14, 2008, at home at the age of 95. Born in Makaweli on Oct. 10, 1912, she was a janitor with the state of Hawai‘i.
Preceeded in death by husband Harumi Tao and son Paul S Tao. She is survived by daughters Jane S. (James) Weber of Las Vegas, Nev. and Evelyn I. (John) Perkins of Keno, Ore.; grandchildren, great-grandchildren; sisters Sueko Kimura of Ele‘ele, Kikuyo (Kenzo) Takahashi of Honolul and Setsuko Kawado of Honolulu and numerous nieces and nephews.
Services are private.
