Tsuyano Tao of Koloa died Oct. 14, 2008, at home at the age of 95. Born in Makaweli on Oct. 10, 1912, she was a janitor with the state of Hawai‘i.
Preceded in death by husband Harumi Tao and son Paul S Tao. She is survived by daughters Jane S. (James) Weber of Las Vegas, Nev. and Evelyn I. (John) Perkins of Keno, Ore.; grandchildren; great-grandchildren; sisters Sueko Kimura of ‘Ele‘ele, Kikuyo (Kenzo) Takahashi of Honolulu and Setsuko Kawado of Honolulu and numerous nieces and nephews.
Services are private.
Arrangements are being handled by Garden Island Mortuary.
