Daniel Manus Sr.
Daniel “Spanish” Manus Sr., of Lawa‘i, died on Nov. 10, 2008, at Hale Kupuna at the age of 93.
Born on April 18, 1915, in Koloa, Kaua‘i, he was a fisherman.
Preceded in death by wife Lucy C. Manus.
Survived by son Daniel Manus Jr. (Loraine) of Hanapepe; daughters Madeline Braddock of Oklahoma and Dolores “Dolly” Saladaga of Kekaha; 15 grandchildren; 26 great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild; sisters Violet “Nina” Gotcher of Oahu, Glory Kirkland of Big Island and Dolores “Lolly” Boot of Kauai; numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
Friends may visit with the family from 9:30 to 10:15 a.m. on Nov. 22, 2008, at Holy Cross Church in Kalaheo; Mass at 10:15 a.m., followed by burial at the church cemetery. Casual attire is suggested.
Yu Sun Sin
Yu Sun Sin died on Nov. 17, 2008 at The Garden Island HealthCare at the age of 87.
Born on June 8, 1921 in Seoul, Korea she was the founder of Gifts of Kauai.
Preceeded in death by parents Jong Han Sin and Kum Rae An; brothers Yu Sung Sin and Tae Sung Sin.
She is survived by sons Young Il Oh (Young Ae Jun) of Kapa‘a and Young Seok Oh of Los Angeles, Calif.; daughters Yi Ja Oh of Seoul, Korea, Therease Goodridge of Lihu‘e, and Hee Cha Oh (Dae Woon Son) of San Francisco, Calif.; ten grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; brother Ho Sung Sin of Seoul, Korea; siser Myung Sun Sin (Han Ok Moon) of Seoul, Korea.

Marcelo Oyamot
Marcelo “Marcie” Oyamot died Oct 20, 2008, at Pali Momi Hospital at the age of 80.
Born Oct. 12, 1928 in Makaweli, Kaua‘i he was a retired heavy equipment operator.
Survived by brothers; Dick Oyamot of Oahu, Lucky Oyamot, of Kaua‘i; sister Gloria Oyamot of Kaua‘i; children Clifton (Editha) Oyamot Sr., Glenn (Yvonne) Oyamot Sr., Rochelle (Timothy) Yorong, Keith (Anna) Oyamot Sr., Donna Kehau (Chuckie) Maeha, Karen (Lance) Gurtiza, Alex Blanco, Tanya (Blaine) Guriza; 16 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren and numerous nephews and neices.
Visitation will be held from 5 p.m. at St. Philomena’s Catholic Church, Salt Lake Oahu. Blessing of his ashes and service follow at 6 p.m.
No flowers. In lieu of flowers the family suggests giving blood donations in memory of the deceased through the Hawaii Blood Bank. Donor cards available at the church.
A celebration of life will begin at 11 a.m. at the Grove Room, Waimea Plantation Cottages on Nov. 22, 2008. Aloha attire is requested. A private scattering of his ashes will be done at K-1 beach.
Julie Craddock
Julie Enwright Craddock died Nov. 7, 2008, at the Mayo Clinic Hospital, Scottsdale, Ariz. at the age of 48.
Born Nov. 22, 1959 in St. Petersburg, Fla. she was a Realtor with Aloha Island Properties.
Preceeded in death by father John Goodman Enwright of St. Petersburg, Fla.
Survived by husband Tim Craddock of Lawa‘i; mother Marilyn Mitchell and step-father George Mitchell of Warrensburg, Mo.; step-brother Douglas Mitchell of Austin, Texas; step-sister Georganne Mitchell of Denver, Colo.; brother Randy (Karla), Tallahassee, Fla.; brother Mark Enwright, of Hallsville Mo.; brother John (Susan) Enwright and numerous nieces and nephews.
