Earlier, Sheila Nakayama got to come home for the Thanksgiving weekend and brought a guest from Connecticut who got to watch the parade before heading to the airport with a box of Kaua‘i Bakery goodies. Eric Miura of Deja Vu (haven’t seen him around for a while) was jockeying between Deja Vu and Underground during the busy weekend at the mall, and Sally French was wrapping up her exhibit on the mall.
Earlier in the day, Erlinda Bukoski had a chance to browse through some of the offerings at the Kaua‘i Handworks show, and Bette Kobayashi must’ve been thankful for the cold wind and rain that pulled people into the craft fair. Debbie Yanagihara found some nice stuff at first-time crafter Chad Mizushima’s booth who made the trip to Po‘ipu all the way from Hanalei. Chad said he’ll be at the Kaua‘i Museum fair this Friday with his apparel and Chinese calligraphy originals (his wife does the calligraphy, he said).
Anita and William Kaneakua were enjoying the food court and missed out on Friday night when Peter Rayno was there enjoying the Natural Harmony. Actually, Peter was at Wal-Mart for the Black Friday morning and ended up at Kukui Grove as did a lot of other people.
