Nelson Batalion and Turquoise “Toto” Santos (she said Chef Mark Sassone was already prepping dinner) were busy working the Hilton Christmas brunch. This one gets better each year. Marlo Louis-Medeiros had her whole ‘ohana there as did a lot of other people.
Naja Pungan said she’s been working at the Pacific Fireworks (it’s amazing how Erika Kleinfeld can troubleshoot stores on the Outer Islands) place since when she was a cheerleader. Now she’s the Kaua‘i High School No. 2 pitcher when the KIF softball season starts.
And on the subject of softball, Moana DeSilva wants to check out Jocelyn Enrique on the UH softball team when it starts Feb. 5.
Erin and Molly Connelly were doing the mall trip the day after Christmas. Unfortunately, Lanaly Cabalo is on vacation and couldn’t make the Blue-and-White game Friday night.
But soccer was on tap and coach Todd Mayer had his entire ‘ohana braving the cold with some grinds from Pedro Saligumba’s girls at the food booth.
OK, ‘nuff said, it’s time to get ready for New Year’s baby!
