Edward Martin
Edward T. Martin of Lihu‘e died March 24, 2009, at home at age 67. Born May 4, 1941, in Michigan, he was the owner/operator of Kauai Safety Agency.
He is survived by partner Ruth, son Edward and daughter Jodi, both of Oregon, grandchildren Erin, Dylan and Rachel, and friends and family.
Visitation is at 1 p.m. on Saturday at St. Catherine’s Church; services at 2 p.m.
A scattering of ashes will be Sunday.

Gladys Nakamatsu
Gladys F. Nakamatsu of Lawa‘i died March 16, 2009, in Lihu‘e at age 83. Born Oct. 8, 1925, in Waimea, she was an accountant.
She was preceded in death by parents Miyajiro and Okoya Kinoshita; brother Toraichi Wada; sisters Nobuyo Sugimura, Shigeko Wada and Okisa Yamaguchi.
She is survived by husband Yasuo, sons Miles (Amy) Nakamatsu and Lenny (Stephanie) Nakamatsu, three grandchildren and brother Fukuo Kinoshita.
Services were private.

Kenneth K. Yamamoto of Koloa died March 20, 2009, at Mahelona Hospital at age 68. Born June 11, 1940, he was a landscaper and owner of his own company.
He is survived by brothers Milton Yamamoto, Melvin (Elaine) Yamamoto and Dexter (Charlene) Yamamoto.
Services are private.

Ronald Aluag
Ronald Aluag of Mission Viejo, Calif., died March 18, 2009, in Mission Viejo at age 71. Born Oct. 10, 1937, in Kekaha, he retired from Chevron Refinery in El Segundo, Calif.
He was preceded in death by parents Estanislao and Florence Aluag and brothers Steve and Milton.
He is survived by wife Aura; daughter Sandra (Ivan) Polanco; sons Hugo Castillo and Bobby Luarca; brothers Stanley (Rose) Aluag, Albert Aluag and George (Mary) Galaza; sister Audrey (Paul) Swanson; grandchildren Jazmine and Sophia; and numerous uncles, aunties, cousins, nieces and nephews.
Rememberance of life at 11 a.m. on Saturday at St. Killian Parish Church in Mission Viejo, Calif.
Casual Hawaiian attire is suggested.
Inurnment at 10:30 a.m. on May 1, at the National Memorial Cemetery of the Pacific (Punchbowl).
Teodorico Geronimo
Teodorico Felix Geronimo of Kaumakani died March 16, 2009, at Wilcox Memorial Hospital at age 86. Born June 28, 1922, in the Philippines, he was a retired plantation worker.
He is survived by children Norma (Rodrigo) Del Rosario of Spanaway, Wash., Delfin (Victoria) Geronimo of ‘Ele‘ele, Angeles Alonzo of Hanama‘ulu, Justino (Rebecca) Geronimo of Hilo, Vereno (Vangie) Geronimo of Kaumakani, Josephine (Jose Macalma) Geronimo of Kaumakani, Marcial (Wilma) Geronimo of ‘Ele‘ele and Juanita “Annette” (Steven Babas) Tabilisima of Hilo; brother Agapito (Rosario) Geronimo of Aiea, O‘ahu; 25 grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
Wake service visitation 5-8 p.m. on Friday at Garden Island Mortuary Chapel; service at 6 p.m.
Funeral service visitation 9-10:30 a.m. on Saturday at Holy Cross Catholic Church; Mass at 10:30 a.m.
Burial at Hanapepe Public Cemetery. Casual attire is suggested. Flowers are being accepted.

Rev. Moses “Moke” Keale Jr. of Anahola died March 8, 2009, at Wilcox Memorial Hospital at age 69. Born Feb. 2, 1940, in Ni‘ihau, he retired as a heavy equipment operator for Gay & Robinson Incorporated.
He was preceded in death by son William Keale; brother Moses Keale Sr.; and sisters Adeline Rivera, Rose Kaliloa and Rebecca Keale.
He is survived by wife Elaine (Petersen) Keale of Anahola; hanai son William Kamala of Anahola; hanai daughters Rhonda (Jeff) Garcia of Lihu‘e and Anaconi Kamala of Kapa‘a; brother Arthur (Dorothy) Keale of Waimea, Joseph (Viola) Kahale of O‘ahu and Arthur (Cissy) Kahale of Koloa; sister Josephine Keale of Waimea; sisters-in-law Dianne L. Keale of Anahola, Frances (Harry) Kamoku of Kapa‘a and Palma Kamala of Kapa‘a; grandchildren Taylor, Kilinoe, Conner Garcia of Lihu‘e; and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
Visitation from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Saturday at the Kauai Veterans Center; services at 11 a.m.
The family requests aloha attire and flowers be omitted. Lei are welcome.
