All 11 American Contract Bridge League sanctioned Duplicate Clubs across Hawai‘i competed with over 320 players participating.
The Sunset Bridge Club in Princeville was the coordinating club for Kaua‘i players and placed five out of the 15 teams recognized for Masterpoint awards. The Kaua‘i teams receiving Masterpoint awards are: Deanna and Garnet Hammer, 4.76; Bill and JoAnne Georgi, 3.35; Lenda Helser and Brad Bjorklund, 2.51; Lolita Horney and Charlie Herbert, 1.88; Judy and RC Smith, 1.06.
The North Shore and Poalua Bridge Clubs meet every Thursday at the Sun Village Club House behind Wilcox Memorial Hospital in Lihu‘e.
The game starts promptly at 9 a.m. and visitors are enthusiastically welcomed by club members.
This is the oldest bridge club on Kaua‘i.
