Hats off to Darryl Izumo (he finished fifth!) of the Lihu‘e Bowling Center on another great PBA tournament. And congratulations to crowd favorite Tony Reyes on a great comeback to win the tournament for the first time. Russell Shimazu took a break from hair care duties to check out some of the final-day action, Tuesday, and kudos to Gary Mage for making sure all the results are up on the PBA Web site. Actually, Gary saw the Camper doing Food Collection, Saturday at the Wal-Mart store, but wasn’t sure.
Congratulations to Mahelona Hospital’s Josie Pablo (she hosted a 99th birthday party for Kamechiyo Kitajima before leaving) to finish the Lanikai Triathalon, a sprint distance triathalon, with a clock time of 1:40:27! She’s gearing up for the Kaua‘i event that’s coming up soon.
Kudos to Keith Kitamura’s peer mediation class at Kapa‘a High School for doing such a great job with the mural at The Home Depot. Michael-Alan Drake had his ‘ohana working, Sunday, so there was no time for drumming.
OK, nuff said… it’s time to check on the final KIF baseball game in Kapa‘a before heading to volleyball.
